For the daredevils, there’s a SkyRider tour, which is an above-the-canopy course with more than two miles split over five separate lines, each of which reaches a height of 600 feet shooting riders along at speeds of up to 50 miles an hour!

Hither Hills State Park

Like camping? Located in Long Island the Hither Hills State Park is only a 2.5 hour drive from the city! There is a self-guided nature trail at the edge of the park that features the Walking Dunes, sand dunes up to 80 feet high that, thanks to the winds, walk to the southeast about three and a half feet each year. This campground books fast, so make plans quickly!

Downtown Boathouse

This offers New Yorkers a chance to cruise the city waterways in kayaks at three spots along the Hudson River: Pier 26, 72nd Street in Riverside Park and Pier 96. The best part? It is completely free!

Coney Island

Everybody’s heard of this one! Come to the most famous beach in New York where you can either lay out, take a swim, ride a roller coaster, eat delicious food, or walk down the beautiful sidewalk.
